Roles & Responsibility
Work as an experienced software or systems engineer to lead and support system-of-systems Modeling and Simulation (M&S) efforts for commercial, satellite, and military Army networks for customers. Demonstrate knowledge of available tools and techniques in M&S for architectures based on existing and new communications systems. Candidate will be in the role of lead integrator of simulation and emulation tools (specifically Extendable Mobile Ad-hoc Network Emulator (EMANE) and Joint Network Emulator (JNE)) into the larger Modeling, Emulation, Simulation, Tool for Analysis.
Work on a team of 4-8 people who will be responsible for (1) installing, configuring, and operating the simulation and emulation tools, (2) developing code to automate configuration and setup of M&S tools, (3) develop new emulation/simulation models of existing or emerging network systems, (4) configuring external connections to live radios, routers and other hardware, and (5) conducting full scale analysis testing and producing analysis reports.
-10+ years of experience with Modeling and Simulation (M&S)
-Experience with Data Collection, Reduction, and Analysis (DCRA) tools and frameworks, including JNE, CES+, EMANE, Wireshark, MGEN, and MATLAB
-Experience with leading teams to satisfy objectives and milestones
-Ability to operate independently and as a part of a team
-Ability to present material to internal and external audiences
-Active Secret clearance
-Experience with C/C++ and Java programming languages
-Experience with Python, SQL, Perl, XML
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BS degree in CS, EE, or a related field
